Job Title: HGV Driver

We are seeking a skilled HGV driver to join our team at Get Staff, a leading recruitment agency in Portsmouth. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for driving HGV1 articulated lorries, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive HGV1 articulated lorries, adhering to WTD regulations and client procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of break times, mileage, and other relevant information.
  • Ensure compliance with agency and client regulations, including DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph card requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  • Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card).
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
  • At least 6 months to a year of experience driving HGV1 lorries.
  • Good working knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations.
