About the Role

We are seeking experienced Wastewater Modelling and Planning Experts to join our team in the North West. As a Catchment Planner and Hydraulic Modeller, you will play a key role in supporting the improvement of river health across the Northwest of England.

About the Team

Our Water Consulting team consists of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development to our Water Industry clients. We work on a range of prestigious AMP8 programmes leading into AMP9 and beyond, offering a broad portfolio of long-term framework agreements.

About You

Candidates should possess prior experience with projects in urban drainage settings, along with proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and relevant GIS software. You will be expected to deliver feasibility studies, model use studies, optioneering, and development assessments for wastewater networks, ensuring quality of modelling outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.

Key Skills and Experience
  • Relevant experience in modelling either a consultancy or water company
  • Proficiency in Excel and Visual Basic
  • Proficient in modelling software using InfoWorks ICM and associated bolt-on packages
  • Working knowledge of GIS Systems (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS)
  • Demonstrable experience in discipline-specific data analysis packages, which may be water-focused such as InfoWorks or InfoAsset
  • General understanding of the UK water industry
