We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer Specialist to work on our heavy plant equipment in Rugby, Warwickshire. This role requires someone with a mechanical bias and experience in maintenance engineering.

About the Role:

This position involves maintaining and repairing heavy plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical principles and be able to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of heavy plant equipment
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving

The salary for this role is £47,103 per annum, paid on a 4 on 4 off Days/Nights (7-7) basis with 16 days of rest every six weeks.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent time-served apprenticeship
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding
