Research Assistant in Bioengineering Position

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team at the University of Edinburgh's Institute for Bioengineering. The successful candidate will contribute to the CLEAR-VUE project, examining the effects of ophthalmic viscosurgical devices on human corneal endothelial cell health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in mammalian cell culture and primary cell isolation and culture
- Conduct cell analysis techniques such as fluorescence microscopy
- Engage in interdisciplinary academic teams and activities
- Develop and maintain excellent academic record, work ethic, organizational and oral/written communication skills
