About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and clinically excellent audiologist or clinical scientist to lead and shape paediatric audiology services in the acute setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and participating in paediatric hearing tests, hearing aid provision, and diagnostic tests for babies. They will also be expected to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and organisation ability.

The post holder will be able to show clinical leadership by innovating on clinical procedures in terms of outcome measures, quality assurance practices based on current best practice and national protocols.

Main Duties
  1. To oversee and participate in paediatric hearing tests, hearing aid provision, and diagnostic tests for babies.
  2. To shape policy and strategic direction for paediatric services in the department.
  3. To demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and organisation ability.
  4. To show clinical leadership by innovating on clinical procedures in terms of outcome measures, quality assurance practices based on current best practice and national protocols.
