Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Processing invoices and payments in accordance with our procedures.
  • Assisting in the preparation and amendment of payment schedules and liaising with clients and suppliers.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and information.
  • Assisting in financial monitoring and control.
  • Administering departmental systems related to payments and income.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking work connected with the payment of accounts and allowances or collection of income associated with our organization's work.
  • Processing invoices in accordance with our procedures, including verification and coding.
  • Assisting in the preparation and amendment of payment/income schedules and liaising with clients/suppliers of services.
  • Maintaining financial information and records accurately.
  • Assisting in financial monitoring and control.
  • Arranging procurement for staff within the department.
  • Administering departmental systems in relation to payments or income due from clients.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Accurate numeracy skills to ensure correct information is inputted.
  • Ability to check and reconcile computer data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to input and retrieve information from computer systems.
  • Effective organizational skills, with the ability to plan, develop, and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using initiative.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience with using an Oracle database.
  • Familiarity with Schools FMS.
