Salary Range: £90,000 - £120,000 per annumJob Description:
  • Preparing Cost Plans: Developing cost plans for construction projects from concept design to design development, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Tender Documents: Creating comprehensive tender documents, including bills of quantities, rates, and schedules, to support informed decision-making.
  • Budget Preparation: Preparing detailed budgets for construction documentation, such as architectural and engineering plans, drawings, and specifications, to ensure project viability.
  • Research and Analysis: Conducting preliminary research into construction and budget details to inform evaluations and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Monitoring actual expenses against budget plans and preparing monthly cash flow forecasts to identify potential issues and opportunities.
  • Project Close-Out: Preparing replacement costs and tax depreciation schedules at the end of the project for clients' insurance policies.
Requirements:
  • A Quantity Surveying degree or similar qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, with consultancy experience preferred.
  • Strong expertise in high-end residential projects, ideally with MRICS accreditation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
