Professional OT Lead for Community Reablement Service

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our Reablement Service, working in partnership with East London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of occupational therapy services to adults and older people with a wide range of disabilities and their families/carers.
- Train, support, and guide a range of staff to undertake enhanced roles, including personal care, rehabilitation, and reablement.
- Assess and provide occupational therapy, working with users and informal carers in their homes and local communities to promote independent living.
- Supervise and develop all staff working within the Reablement Service, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent care.

Person Specification
- Essential:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Postgraduate education in leadership and management.
- Experience of supervising and developing staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Desirable:
- Masters-level qualification in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Experience of working in a community-based setting.
