Job Description

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Configuration Administrator to support our client's Configuration Management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuration Management Support: Provide administrative support to the Configuration Management team, ensuring the smooth operation of software assets and configuration procedures.
  • Software Purchases and Licenses: Assist with the identification and documentation of software purchases and licenses, working in liaison with the Purchasing team.
  • Central Repository Updates: Provide updates to the central repository for all software licenses in use by the account.
  • Management Information: Provide accurate management information when requested and in a timely manner.
  • Help Desk Support: Answer queries and resolve problems referred by the Help Desk.
  • Procedure Maintenance: Maintain Software Asset and Configuration Management procedures and Work Instructions.
  • IT Change Enablement: Support the administration of IT Change Enablement, including assisting with agendas, recording decisions/actions/observations, and distributing.
  • Release and Project Management: Create release and project management baselines for project teams and perform Baseline Verification Audits.
  • Third-Party Software Management: Manage third-party software processes, including accepting media into the Media Library, recording changes to Removable Media, and removing retired Removable Media from the library.
  • File Transfers and COTS Downloads: Ensure File Transfers and COTS Downloads are completed in a timely fashion and prioritized as necessary.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in the delivery of contracted services managed by the Business Support Team and respond to Ad Hoc requests as required.
  • Reporting: Provide administrative support to enable the production of daily/weekly/monthly reports.
