Job Title: Escalator Service Engineer

Location: Durham

Salary: £43,000 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic Escalator Engineer to join our team at Stirling Warrington. As an Escalator Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, minor repairs, and component replacements on escalators in your assigned portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance and servicing of escalator systems, including minor repairs and part replacements, following company procedures.
  • Diagnose and resolve escalator breakdowns, ensuring they are returned to full working order efficiently.
  • Complete routine inspections, adjustments, and testing of escalator systems, ensuring they meet company and industry standards.
  • Use technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and fault-finding techniques to troubleshoot issues and restore escalators to service.
  • Ensure all work is conducted following company health, safety, and environmental policies, as well as UK regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in escalator servicing, maintenance, or repairs is preferred.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is required.
