About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team, providing support to our clients in their own homes. As a Night Care Assistant, you will be working with the same client to promote their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in conversations about their day, interests, and experiences.
  • Assist with food preparation and medication administration, ensuring clients remain nourished and hydrated.
  • Offer mobility support to help clients move safely around their home.
  • Provide continence and personal hygiene support to promote skin integrity and comfort.

Requirements

No formal qualifications are required, although a year's experience in care is preferred for night workers. You must have a reliable means of transport, as clients live in various locations throughout Gloucester.
