We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic team at Toad Hall Nursery Group. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR support to our Head of HR and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Onboarding: Prepare and manage recruitment documentation, ensure DBS renewals are up-to-date, and handle flexible working requests and leaves of absence.
- Employee Relations and Legal Compliance: Provide support for employee relations casework, act as a note-taker during meetings, and ensure compliance with employment law by staying updated on legal changes and conducting annual audits of personnel files.
- Payroll and Compensation: Input monthly payroll changes, support payroll processing, manage compliance with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage regulations, and assist with annual leave buyback and bonus processes.
- Training and Development: Oversee the Government Apprenticeship Service, deliver HR training sessions, and manage training feedback and recognition programs.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification with up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in payroll, HR administration, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Access to own transport for travel to nursery settings.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
- Competitive salary of £30,000.
