The role of Technical Sales Representative for our client is an exciting opportunity to join their successful export sales team. As an integral part of the team, you will focus on expanding their current presence in the Gulf region, a high growth area. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and growing key accounts and distributors, following up on leads generated by marketing activities, and prospecting for new business opportunities. You will provide in-depth technical support to identify and resolve customer challenges using our client's products and services, ensuring a professional representation that upholds their market-leading image and reputation. Key responsibilities include managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts and distributors across the wider Gulf region, presenting our client's offerings professionally to maintain their esteemed market position, and collaborating with the sales team to develop strategies for market penetration and growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a sales territory, ideally with some experience in a technical or engineering sales environment. A background in engineering is preferred but not essential; however, the ability to discuss technical products confidently is crucial. Strong communication skills in English, particularly for handling emails and quotations, are also required. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new challenges is essential for success in this role. Our client offers a competitive salary in the £30,000 - £40,000 range, with an annual bonus, a supportive office environment with opportunities for professional growth, and international travel opportunities.
