Position Overview:

The role involves programming, setting up, and operating 3 and 4 axis (X Y Z & A) milling machines to manufacture high-quality components that meet precise specifications.

You will interpret technical drawings to guarantee accurate production, with simplified drawings created in-house for ease of set-up.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Setting up jobs according to internal setting sheets.
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving machine and production process issues.
  • Utilising strong knowledge of CNC programming with FANUC controls.
  • Performing mechanical setup and operation of CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines for small batch runs.
  • Measuring machined parts and adjusting offsets to ensure accuracy of finished components.
