Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AML Compliance Manager to oversee and manage the operations of our AML team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing AML policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards, and providing expert advice and guidance on AML matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AML policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct thorough AML risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards, including the Money Laundering Regulations
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on AML matters to internal stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, including the Financial Conduct Authority
  • Regularly report to senior management on AML activities and performance

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Law, Finance, or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of AML regulations and best practices
  • Proven experience in managing an AML team at a law firm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
