As a Podiatry Professional with Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality treatments to patients referred into the service for assessment and intervention. With a focus on autonomy and independence, you will take responsibility for assessing and treating a caseload of patients, including some complex cases. You will be expected to work towards completing a competency framework and may be part of the preceptorship programme for newly qualified graduates.
The post holder will work as part of a highly motivated podiatry team, promoting health and reducing inequalities for individuals, families, and communities. You will optimise opportunities for health promotion and health education, enabling patients to maximise their potential in terms of health and social well-being.
Main Duties- To provide direct support and development of podiatrists and assistants via knowledge sharing and supervision to ensure competency within the podiatry workforce.
