Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the heat treatment of steel & non-ferrous parts for the engineering industry.
The successful candidate will have a strong, hands-on engineering background and be able to carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular servicing and maintenance of thermal processing equipment.
- Assist with project work such as installation and commissioning of new equipment, plant improvements and upgrades.
- Complete required documentation for the Engineering System.
- Carry out required training to confidently complete tasks for maintenance and installation activities.
Requirements:
- Ideally qualified to HND or C&G in mechanical engineering.
- Good mechanical/maintenance skills; including welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, replacing bearings, transmission systems including pulleys and belts.
- Good computer literacy skills.
