Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team to maintain electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, and implement proactive maintenance schedules. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain electrical systems, including troubleshooting and fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
- Collaborate with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff, and technicians to carry out repairs and inspections.
- Carry out planned inspection routes and proactive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Foster a safe working environment by following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
Requirements:
- Time-served engineer with experience in textiles/industrial/FMCG industries.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/ONC/OND).
- Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency.
