Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of housekeeping services on board our luxury cruise ships. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to two years of supervisory experience in an upscale hotel or resort setting, preferably with a background in housekeeping.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all housekeeping tasks are completed to the highest standard, including cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and supervising housekeeping staff
  • Cleaning and maintaining public areas, staterooms, and crew quarters
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Monitoring and improving guest satisfaction scores
  • Managing inventory and supplies
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Providing coaching and development opportunities for housekeeping staff

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in an upscale hotel or resort
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemical handling
  • Ability to work positively and cooperatively as part of a team

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
