About the Role

We are seeking an experienced nurse consultant to join our IPC team as a clinical nurse specialist. As a key member of our IPC service, you will play a critical role in implementing and monitoring infection prevention measures, and developing education and training programs for all disciplines within our Trust.

Your expertise will be essential in providing expert advice on infection prevention and control practices, contributing to the development and implementation of measures to reduce the incidence of infection, and working collaboratively to develop systems and processes to support our organisation's objectives relating to IPC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on infection prevention and control practices
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of measures to reduce the incidence of infection
  • Work collaboratively to develop systems and processes to support our organisation's objectives relating to IPC
  • Take a lead in the clinical audit process, including the evaluation and disseminating learning outcomes
  • Develop and deliver educational and training programs to all disciplines within our Trust
  • Act as a strong patient advocate, providing visible compassionate leadership, and ensuring that the care of patients reflects best clinical standards
  • Lead on developing and reviewing Trust infection prevention and control policies and guidelines

Salary and Benefits
