Housing Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Coordinator to join our team at Spinnaker House Extra Care facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing high-quality service and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for resident queries and concerns.
- Assist residents with tenancy matters, coordinate services, and foster a positive community atmosphere.
- Empower residents to maintain independent living by providing support and guidance.
- Enable residents to manage their homes and tenancies safely, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Record resident risks and needs, developing interventions to support their continued independence.
- Make referrals and collaborate with external agencies to ensure residents receive necessary care and support.
- Facilitate resident-led activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
- Liaise with our on-site care team to stay informed about resident needs and preferences.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up on repairs to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- GCSE Grade 3 or above education or equivalent relevant qualification, training, or experience.
- Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional and personal development.
- Experience working with older and/or vulnerable individuals in a housing or social care setting.
- Proven track record of completing assessments and developing support plans.
