Strategic Land Manager Opportunity

Caralex Recruitment Limited is working with a housebuilder to appoint a Strategic Land Manager to identify, appraise, and buy strategic greenfield land in the Northern Home Counties.

The role involves working with local plans, negotiating with land owners and their agents, and optimising land into viable housing development sites. The successful candidate will have experience in strategic land purchases as a Land Manager or Town Planner and be able to work with a variety of people, including external consultants and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and appraise strategic greenfield land opportunities
  • Negotiate with land owners and their agents to purchase land
  • Optimise land into viable housing development sites
  • Work with external consultants and internal team members to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Experience in strategic land purchases as a Land Manager or Town Planner
  • Knowledge of local plans and land industry contacts
  • Ability to work with a variety of people, including external consultants and internal team members
