About You
We are embarking on an ambitious journey to secure a minimum of 12 new sites annually and are in search of a driven and enthusiastic professional with a background in Land Agency or Development to join our innovative and skilled team in the London and South East Division.
You should possess a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in identifying and acquiring land and development opportunities, showcasing expertise in land acquisition negotiations, contract management, and report delivery.
This role will concentrate on land acquisition south of the River Thames, where your geographical insight and key connections will be vital to your success. You will be expected to approach land purchasing in a new sector of the later living market with an entrepreneurial mindset and a dynamic approach.
This is an exciting and challenging position that demands an organized and confident individual who is commercially astute and possesses a positive strategic outlook.

The retirement sector is continuously evolving to meet our customers' needs. Collaborating with a well-established and supportive Land team and reporting to the Divisional Land Director, you will be responsible for acquiring sites as outlined in the land purchase strategy while aiding in the achievement of key business performance objectives.
Managing both internal stakeholders and external consultants will be essential to ensure the smooth and timely execution of development projects until construction begins.
Although the role is based out of our Hatfield office, we have adopted a hybrid working model that typically requires 2 to 3 days a week in the office, with the remainder of the time working remotely or focusing on land acquisition south of the River Thames.
Your Qualifications
You should possess:
A 2:2 degree (or higher) in: BSc (Hons) Property Development and Planning, BSc (Hons) Real Estate, BSc (Hons) Geography, or a related field. Experience in site acquisition within commercial corporate or agency settings (residential experience is not necessary) Project Management capabilities Financial insight, negotiation, and cost management skills Proficiency in technical and design development Experience managing planning applications is a plus but not mandatory A full driver's license is essential for this roleYou will bring:
