We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join our team at YMCA Norfolk. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the strategic direction of our charity by delivering high-quality finance reporting and processes.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Team to undertake finance transformation projects. These projects will aim to improve our efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement effective financial controls, ensuring that our financial systems are robust and secure.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a recognised CCAB/CIMA accounting qualification (full or part-qualified) and have extensive knowledge of financial controls. Your skills and experience will enable you to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will have experience working with financial systems and be able to implement effective financial controls.

YMCA Norfolk is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Basic DBS check prior to commencing employment.
