Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Train Information Specialist to join our team at Network Rail. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the frontline of our operations, providing critical information to our customers and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of control procedures and instructions, and experience with Microsoft Office and Control specific software. They will also have a solid geographical knowledge of the applicable route and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time train information to customers through means such as TYRELL messaging and email messaging.
  • Collate and disseminate information to/from Network Rail Control to TOC/FOC Controls as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of information provided.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless communication and effective decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the applicable route.
  • Knowledge of control procedures and instructions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Control specific software.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
