As a Consultant Psychiatrist, your key responsibilities include: RC responsibility for all patients, safe prescribing and monitoring of physical health, comprehensive assessments and treatment planning, management of patients on the ward, timely discharge GP notifications, preparation of Mental Health Act tribunal reports, and engagement with external professionals and families/carers.
