Senior Tax Manager Job Description

RSM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our Real Estate group in Chicago, IL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax advice and guidance to our clients, while also driving growth and profitability within our industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage complex tax engagements, ensuring high-quality advice and exceptional client service.
  • Develop and execute tax strategies that align with client business objectives, while managing risk and ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated tax services and drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve client outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA, JD, LLM, or EA certification.
  • 8+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent in law firms or industry.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects and engagement teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to clients and stakeholders.
