Installation Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join our client, a leading provider of intelligent traffic equipment, car park and stadium security solutions, and electronic road signs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, refurbishing, or repairing a variety of traffic equipment, car park and stadium ticket machines, and security barriers and camera solutions. You will work to customer specifications and ensure contractual obligations, terms, and conditions are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, refurbish, or repair traffic equipment, car park and stadium ticket machines, and security barriers and camera solutions
  • Work to customer specifications and ensure contractual obligations, terms, and conditions are met
  • Collaborate with teams and work independently on different projects
  • Ensure changes to the contract are reported back to the Service Delivery Manager in a timely fashion
  • Complete work sheets and time sheets accurately and submit on time
  • Comply with all QHSE regulations and procedures for this role

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license is required
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Experience working in a field or mobile-based role
  • Ability to work in a team or alone on certain projects
  • Good English and maths skills

Desirable Requirements:

  • Sector 8 Accreditation (including NRSWA, G39)
  • Electrical qualifications (ECS, Electrical Installations C&G etc)
  • Understanding of traffic signal site installation and basic theory (phases, stages, and detection)
