Purchase Ledger Role

Nixon McQuade is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger on behalf of a leading business based in the region.

As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing support to the department activities with specific responsibility for the Purchase Ledger functions.

  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Allocate bank and cash transactions to the correct accounts.
  • Prepare and execute supplier payment runs.
  • Liaise with other departments and suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies.
  • Contribute to month-end procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a weekly cash flow forecast to inform business decisions.
  • Set up and maintain vendor accounts to ensure efficient payment processing.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounts payable and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
