Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at MacArthur Recruitment. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's manufacturing equipment and plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, manufacture, and commission electrical components and panels in-house and on-site
  • Provide electrical maintenance and repair services to in-house plant and machinery
  • Assist in electrical build on project work for clients
  • Attend technical meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Liaise with the project team to identify and resolve any problems associated with the design of equipment and project delivery
  • Participate in technical meetings with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure client requirements are correctly interpreted and reflected in the deliverables
  • Ensure regular effective communication with clients and project teams
  • Provide support within the business for the electrical department, including maintenance
Requirements:
  • Electrical degree
  • Demonstrable experience in an industry-related field
  • Experience within heavy industry, build to design, and manufacturing bespoke equipment
  • Experience in an equipment design environment
  • Knowledge of quality assurance requirements and procedures
  • Able to provide maintenance, strip out, and repair of electrical components on plant, e.g., lathes and other manufacturing machinery
  • Working from provided drawings to build electrical boards and panels
