Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our client's project delivery and maintenance team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring deliverables are prepared to satisfy project requirements and maintaining shop floor machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work from existing designs to manufacture and provide commissioning support on electrical components and panels in-house and on-site
  • Provide electrical maintenance and repair to in-house plant and machinery
  • Assist with electrical build on project work for clients
  • Attend technical meetings with clients
  • Liaise with the project team to identify and resolve any problems associated with the design of equipment and project delivery
  • Participate in technical meetings with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure client requirements are correctly interpreted and reflected in deliverables
  • Ensure regular effective communication with clients and project teams
  • Provide support within the business for the electrical department, including maintenance

Requirements:

  • Electrical degree
  • Demonstrable experience in an industry-related field
  • Experience in heavy industry, build to design, and manufacturing bespoke equipment
  • Knowledge of quality assurance requirements and procedures
  • Ability to provide maintenance, strip out, and repair of electrical components on plant, such as lathes and other manufacturing machinery
  • Working from provided drawings to build electrical boards and panels
