We are seeking an experienced Freight Management Assistant to join our team in Burton Latimer, Kettering. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our transportation activities.

  • We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, reflecting the current market rate for this position.

This is a temp-perm opportunity that requires a background in transport. In this role, you will be responsible for managing schedules, tracking deliveries, maintaining compliance with legal requirements, and providing administrative support to our logistics team.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. They will also possess a valid driving license and a good understanding of transportation regulations.

In this role, you will coordinate driver schedules and dispatch vehicles to ensure timely deliveries. You will prepare, review, and maintain all transport-related documents, including delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance paperwork.

You will accurately log and track transport data, generating regular reports on vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and delivery performance. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving transport-related issues.
