We are seeking an ambitious Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Ribbons & Reeves in Havering, working closely with students who have diverse special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support to students on a whole-class, small-group, and one-to-one basis, promoting their progress in learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to foster a positive classroom environment and effective behaviour management strategies.
- Engage with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to provide comprehensive support for students with various SEN needs.
- Prioritise student attainment and progression by providing in-class and out-of-class support.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work hands-on with young learners and gain valuable experience in supporting children with diverse educational needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in child psychology, special educational needs, and behaviour support.
Requirements- A degree in Psychology (1st or 2:1) from a top UK university.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND, with confidence in managing behaviour.
£25,000 - £32,000 per annum.
