We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspection & Quality Team Leader to join our Quality Engineering Department at Robertson and Caine International Yachts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet the highest quality standards, while also driving continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead a team of quality inspectors and engineers to conduct regular audits and inspections of our products and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
- Develop and maintain quality control plans and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in our products.
- Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Minimum Qualification: NQF Level 4 Qualification
- Ideal Qualification: Engineering Diploma (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics)
- A minimum of 2 years Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Own transport and valid driver's license.
- Quality drive with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and ability to work in a group (good facilitator)
- High level of analytical ability and skilled problem solver
- Core Skills knowledge (SPC, MSA, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans) will be an added advantage.
