The Railway in Teddington is a well-established local favorite, renowned for its high-quality food and drinks, as well as its famous Sunday roast. We believe that our people are our greatest asset, and we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full-Time Assistant General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Standard Management:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including licensing, hygiene, and Health & Safety guidelines.
    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, as well as create and manage staff rotas.
    • Identify and develop talent within the organization.
    • Monitor payroll information for accuracy and ensure timely delivery.
    • Record holidays, sickness, timekeeping, and absenteeism.
    • Understand the business, its environment, potential, performance, and competitive advantage.
    • Coordinate departmental control, administration, monitoring, and reporting.
    • Deliver a record of all food and bar expenses.
  • Self Management:
    • Utilize data to improve performance and drive business growth.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports.
