Lounges are vibrant and dynamic places where brilliant people come together to deliver exceptional customer experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the General Manager to maintain the highest standards across the team, ensuring every customer leaves happy. Your responsibilities will include driving sales, team retention, training, customer service, and maintaining high standards. You'll be involved in the day-to-day running of the Lounge, from rotas and team engagement to customer feedback. Your standards will be as high as ours, but exactly how you do it will be unique to you.
What We're Looking For:
- You're probably an existing Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor with a background in restaurants, bars, café, or coffee shops.
- You'll have experience of working in a bar environment with serving freshly made food and drinks preparation.
- You're a natural talent and passion for hospitality and an amazing people manager with a flair for talent spotting.
- You're extremely driven and relentless at overcoming challenges or obstacles.
- You have good literacy skills alongside excellent attention to detail to support reporting on KPIs.
- You have good communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- You're a self-motivator working at pace with limited supervision whilst adhering to pressure and timescales.
- You have strong knowledge of best practice in the following areas: sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR, and NPS.
What We Offer:
- Hourly pay up to £14.00ph + bonus + overtime pay + tips
- We guarantee you a full 40 or 48 hours every week
- Additional earnings from our annual bonus scheme of up to £2,500 per annum for Assistant Managers (paid out every 6 months)
- We work hard to ensure you don't work over your contracted hours, but if at times this does happen you will receive overtime pay for every hour worked over contracted hours
