About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Manager to lead our new team in delivering exceptional care to young people. As a key member of our Core Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our residential program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, and manage a dedicated team to provide exceptional care and support to young individuals.
  • Referral Review: Work closely with the Local Authority to assess and review referrals, ensuring each young person receives tailored care that meets their unique needs.
  • Transition Support: Facilitate smooth transitions for young people entering the home by creating and implementing personalized care plans.
  • Compliance & Audits: Conduct monthly audits and maintain meticulous records to ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Team Communication: Promote open communication within your team through regular meetings and supervision, ensuring all members feel informed and supported.
  • Staffing & Rotas: Manage the home's rota system for consistent staffing, with schedules issued in advance.
  • Regulatory Standards: Ensure all regulatory documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Professional Liaison: Attend professional meetings, maintaining high standards of communication with external stakeholders.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all health and safety requirements are met, creating a safe environment for both staff and young people.
  • Safeguarding: Promptly report and record safeguarding concerns, prioritizing the well-being of young individuals and staff.
