The Role:

We are seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete planned work programmes and projects to timeframes and within budget.
  • Manage client needs and ensure that projects are delivered to client satisfaction.
  • Assist the relevant director in managing engineering resources across the Structural Engineering team.
  • Lead major projects ensuring that they are delivered to specification.
  • Prepare designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, and carry out risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment, and new building schemes, tendering documents and supervise works to completion, including agreeing interim and final accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a structural engineering-related discipline.
  • Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain one.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
  • Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos.
  • You will be provided access to a number of specialist design tools (including CAD, Revit, Robot & Tekla) to ensure projects are delivered to specification, with your existing knowledge of these or equivalent being essential.
