We are seeking an experienced Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of our catering and service teams at Medirest Signature. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our units and service counters, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Supervise and motivate a team of catering and service staff to ensure they are delivering impeccable food and customer service.
- Operations Management: Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans to drive sales growth.
- Communication: Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, and represent Medirest Signature in a positive and professional manner.
- Service Excellence: Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales growth, and liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Training and Development: Support and train your team members, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role.
- Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Requirements:
- Management Experience: A minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry.
- Team Management: Experience managing teams in a similar role.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
- Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ambition and Motivation: An ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill and progress their career.
