Join Our Team as a Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Unit Manager to oversee our catering and service operations for Chartwells on a full-time basis. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our unit and service counters run smoothly and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise teams to maintain impeccable food and customer service standards
  • Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans
  • Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
  • Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
  • Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales
  • Liaise between customers and internal teams to exceed expectations
  • Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone excels in their role
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry
  • Experience managing teams in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
