Job Title: Contract School HR Officer

Future Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract School HR Officer to join our team on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Human Resources function within our SEND school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall school strategy.
  • Advise school leadership on HR best practices to enhance staff performance and school culture.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff.
  • Work closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and recruitment agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR database.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures are compliant with current legislation and school policies.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Coordinate staff training and development programs to ensure continuous professional growth.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management.
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals and professional development plans.
  • Handle inquiries and provide HR support to staff and management.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as either an experienced HR Administrator or already a HR Officer, preferably within a school environment but not essential.
  • Able to have difficult conversations with staff members if required and must be resilient as their School HR Officer.
  • Live in commutable distance to the London borough of Bromley.
  • Have an enhanced DBS or able to pay for a new one immediately.
