About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher to join our supportive school community in Barnet, North London. As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students aged 10-11 and preparing them for their SATs exams.

Responsibilities:

  • Pastoral care of children in Key Stage 2
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while focusing on individual learning targets
  • Tracking progress and reporting back to parents

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues

Salary and Benefits:

£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a supportive culture, opportunities for professional development, and a Good Ofsted rating.
