About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable teaching assistant to support several pupils with SEN across the EYFS and Year 1 classes in a Widnes-based primary school. The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the EYFS class in the morning and Year 1 class in the afternoon
  • Work with two pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis, implementing behaviour techniques to promote their learning and engagement
  • Integrate into the Year 1 classes, offering general classroom and behaviour management, as well as completing interventions and boosters on a 1:1 and small group basis
Requirements
  • Full "Right to Work" in the UK
  • Minimum of 40 days referenceable experience working with children and young people in the last two years
  • Experience working with SEN and EYFS and KS1 aged children
