Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN or EHCP.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create effective learning plans.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with additional learning needs.
  • Knowledge of SEN and EHCP frameworks.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or a related field (desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students.
