Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Chestnut Manor Care Home in Wanstead, East London.
As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing and developing the kitchen team, independently preparing hot and cold meals for residents, and planning seasonal menus alongside our Catering and Hospitality Manager.
You will work within budget, manage stock control, and complete regular audits to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and regulations in the kitchen and stores.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a similar role and setting, a Certificate Level II in Food Safety and Hygiene, and knowledge of nutritional needs of older people.
You will also need to have a positive and flexible attitude towards work and the ability to work well in a team.
