Job Title: SEND Learning Support Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who have Autism, ADHD, and other special needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with Autism, ADHD, and other special needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Provide personal care and support as needed, including feeding and changing
- Assist with maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment
Requirements:
- Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
- Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, and other special needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
