Residential Groundworks Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Kenton Black is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Redditch, Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising contract profitability, providing quotations to clients for variations, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Residential Groundworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimise contract profitability through effective cost management and value engineering
  • Provide quotations to clients for variations and ensure accurate pricing
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Residential Groundworks, including current market trends and best practices
  • Accurately prepare and submit monthly cost and value reports
  • Perform all other daily tasks associated with a Quantity Surveyor role
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential groundworks, with a strong understanding of the industry
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in value engineering and cost management
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
