Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at J C Bamford Excavators Ltd. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts, including JCB Attachments profit and loss and balance sheet forecast.
  • Preparation of monthly VAT returns and clearing down of VAT accounts, liaising with VAT advisors to resolve queries and ensure timely submissions.
  • Assist with product mix analysis for month-end forecasting and budgeting.
  • Work with the pricing team to ensure accurate pricing decisions and correct calculation of impact on P&L.

Requirements:
  • CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
  • Previous experience working in a finance function, with high numeracy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Queries, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPS).
  • Prior experience in using SAP is essential.

What We Offer: A competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, company pension scheme, medical insurance, dental care schemes, access to the healthy living centre, and 33 days annual leave.
