Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Vetro Education is working with a fantastic Welsh-Speaking primary school in Llantrisant to recruit several Teaching Assistants and HLTAs for the new academic year.

This exciting opportunity will give successful candidates access to learn a new set of skills and the opportunity to start a career in a highly rewarding industry using the medium of Welsh.

This opportunity will be perfect for individuals who have experience working with children, graduates, support workers or anyone looking for an opportunity to get into the education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide both one-to-one and general support to pupils who require additional support
  • Work in Welsh Primary schools across Llantrisant
  • Be instrumental in the well-being and education of pupils
Requirements
  • A keen interest in working with children
  • Experience (paid or voluntary) working with Children and/or in the care sector
  • Open to training and development
  • Proactive work ethic
  • A good understanding of special educational needs
  • The ability to provide a range of support to pupils
  • A patient and understanding attitude
  • The ability to work as part of a team
