Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless order fulfillment and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Order Confirmation: Confirm receipt of orders within 24 hours, communicating with customers as needed.
  • Credit Control: Apply company credit control policy, verifying credit limits and outstanding invoices before processing orders.
  • Sales Order Processing: Process sales orders from start to finish, arranging delivery with hauliers/shipping lines and raising necessary documentation.
  • Purchasing: Obtain and save relevant paperwork from suppliers, process purchase orders, and raise purchase contracts and call-offs.
  • Stock Control: Order stock in accordance with requirements, arrange delivery, book stock onto the system, and maintain accurate records.
Internal Communications
  • Ensure timely communication with the Accounts team and Direct Line Manager regarding operational issues.
  • Maintain open communication with Sales Managers, quoting customers as delegated.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Department to ensure service levels are met and audit procedures followed.
General Responsibilities
  • Operate within the Company BRC quality system.
  • Maintain office housekeeping and cleanliness.
  • Carry out other functions as requested by management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Experience in customer service, purchasing, or order fulfillment is desirable but not essential.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
